About the Role

We are looking for a skilled
WordPress Backend Developer
to manage and scale Netcore's corporate website. You will be responsible for ensuring our website is fast, secure, and highly optimized to deliver an outstanding digital experience for our global audience. This role requires deep expertise in WordPress backend development, API integrations, and enterprise-level performance optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize
    custom WordPress plugins and themes
    to support marketing and product initiatives.
  • Hands on experience of
    Advanced Custom Fields plugin
  • Manage website
    infrastructure, database architecture, and server-side performance
    for high-traffic enterprise use.
  • Implement and maintain
    APIs, third-party integrations, and headless WordPress setups
    .
  • Ensure
    website security, compliance, and uptime monitoring
    .
  • Optimize site speed and performance with
    advanced caching strategies (Redis, Memcached, CDN)
    .
  • Collaborate with
    marketing, design, and SEO teams
    to implement new landing pages, tracking, and analytics.
  • Conduct regular
    site audits, debugging, and performance troubleshooting
    .
  • Maintain proper
    documentation, Git workflows, and CI/CD deployment pipelines
    .

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a
    Backend Developer for large-scale WordPress websites
    .
  • Strong proficiency in
    PHP, MySQL, WordPress core, and custom plugin development
    .
  • Experience with
    REST API, and headless CMS integrations
    .
  • Deep knowledge of
    website security best practices
    (firewalls, SSL, vulnerability testing).
  • Expertise in
    performance optimization
    and handling enterprise-level traffic.
  • Familiarity with
    SEO-friendly architecture and analytics tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
