About the Role
Design, develop, and validate vehicle components and system utilizing CAD/CAE tools, performing analyses, and managing projects to meet performance, safety, and manufacturing requirements. Key duties include collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulations, analyzing test results, solving mechanical issues, and staying updated on industry trends and new technologies.
Work Location: India, Willing to travel
Education: Diploma/Bachelor/Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering
Language: English, Business Japanese (N3 or above)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and optimize mechanical components and systems for IVI/ Digital cockpit ECUs, Displays, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Create models and conduct simulations to validate designs and optimize performance
- Implement test procedures, test prototypes, and analyze results to verify design performance and identify areas for improvement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and with suppliers to ensure quality standards and project requirements are met.
- Lead design reviews to investigate and solve complex mechanical issues and failures
- Ownership of all specifications and reports
- Manage project timelines and deliverables

Work Experience
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE software like CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, or Autodesk Alias.
- Strong grasp of mechanical systems engineering principles applicable to automotive design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Project management skills to handle timelines and deliverables.
- Awareness of Automotive manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards.
- Japanese - N3 and above
