The Opportunity

For our Western European region, based in Amsterdam or Brussels, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as an Enterprise Architect The Enterprise Architecture team advises Adobe clients, including CIOs and CTOs, on improving customer experience and digital innovation. It provides a deep dive into architecture and identifies a prioritized path forward for customers. Conducting architecture assessments, leading reference architecture discussions, creating solution vision, crafting roadmaps, and offering impactful recommendations. Additionally, pinpointing where these objectives can be achieved using the offerings provided by Adobe.

Presales Enterprise Architect

The Architect for Enterprises plays a key role in supporting regional sales and partners through the development of opportunity pipelines and the implementation of deal strategies. The EA collaborates with clients to achieve post-sales value, emphasizing technical evaluation and post-sales continuity. The Enterprise Architect plays a crucial role in the sales process.

With your expertise in Adobe Digital Experience (DX) solutions, you are regarded as a trusted advisor by your customers, colleagues, and the broader ecosystem Your colleagues admire your ability to engage with customers, manage a room, partner with Adobe sales, drive product enhancements in collaboration with the Adobe product and engineering team, and participate in marketing events, as well as local partner enablement and advisory roles.

Enterprise Architects have deep technical expertise across the full Adobe DX solution portfolio. EAs collaborate with DX Account Executives and Account Solution Consultants to evaluate technical fit and establish technical coaching.

What you'll do
  • Strategy & Planning Partners with DX Account Executives to define overall account strategy, focusing on technical vision and designing an impact roadmap that supports a customers long-term strategy and use cases
  • Define customer architecture & achievements, collaborate on Technical Case, assist Solution Architects.
  • Account Management Partner with DX Account Executives to become trusted client advisors and build relationships and a trusted advisor status with a customer CIO/CTO/CDO organisation
  • Client Management: act as a senior trusted advisor to the customer with a broad customer experience (CX) or specific industry focus, covering the entire journey of an end customer experience end-to-end, as well as internal employee experience.
What Your Primary Accountabilities Will Be
  • Assess the current customer situation and goals, develop a future vision with an IT roadmap, and build solutions tailored to specific requirements using Adobe solutions.
  • Architecture Oversight: Assist in the smooth transition into post-sales and value realization stages, advising on operationalizing the mutual business strategy from the Technical Case during the sales cycle. Engage post-sales on Industry-led transformational accounts with responsibilities through to post-sales delivery, ensuring technical guidance extends into post-sales.
  • Architecture Review: provide regular ongoing reviews where required to clarify and take into consideration new requirements to jointly create a path to solution, impact plan, and build a stable client-vendor relationship for future business.
  • Develop a long-term strategy for a build roadmap, provide industry insights, and align client needs with Adobes solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Ideally broad knowledge of Adobe DX solutions and deep knowledge in several key domains such as customer journey management, data management, implementation & integrations, personalization, analytics, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud architecture patterns and how Adobe fits into best-in-class enterprise solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills to align sales resources in EMEA for EA knowledge advancement.
  • Proficiency in advising and interpersonal skills at the CxO level or equivalent experience working with top executives, and building strong working relationships with practitioner architects.
  • Skilled in crafting technical roadmaps & outlining multi-phase achievements, and ensuring seamless integration of complex enterprise technologies at scale.
Job Specific Competencies & Skills
  • Relevant licence presales or consulting presales experience in the Adobe ecosystem.
  • Strong technical knowledge in Adobe Digital Experience solutions.
  • Strong overall professional experience in technical roles.
  • Demonstrable experience of appropriate successful EA engagements.
  • TOGAF qualified highly desirable.
  • Expert knowledge/expertise on end-to-end processes/solution matching.
  • Design Thinking experience in customer-facing engagements.
  • Experience in sales and sales processes.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English and Dutch.
