Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on small and large projects independently and in collaboration with others
  • Design, develop, and support applications and integrations needed for a variety of projects
  • Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint review, and retrospective
  • Perform code reviews to provide meaningful and helpful feedback to other Developers and to ensure alignment with architecture, security, and other critical elements
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
  • Conduct technical investigations (e.g., proof of concepts, analyses) to determine technology risk and feasibility
  • Write unit, system, and integration tests achieving a high degree of code coverage
  • Identify opportunities for automation and improvement

Skills:

  • Experience designing and developing domain services that connect to SQL and NoSQL backends
  • Experience in designing microservices that interface with NoSQL back-ends
  • Experience getting clarifications for requirements, creating diagrams, and slides to explain concepts to business stakeholders
  • Experience with .NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework, C#
  • Experience with SQL and NOSQL querying and design
  • Experience in building APIs with knowledge of Domain Driven Design is considered an asset
  • Experience with Angular 16+, Blazor, or similar technology is considered an asset
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, with proficiency in Terraform is considered an asset
  • Experience with building event-driven systems is considered an asset
  • Possess working knowledge of cloud service providers, notably Azure or AWS
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies, including Scrum

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Or Masters in Technology/Engineering
  • Bachelor Or Master of Computer Applications

Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate will be an asset

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a .NET Developer, with deep knowledge of Entity Framework and C#
