Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clearance for fit-up inspection before welding begins.
  • Conduct visual inspections of finished welds and fabricated members.
  • Ensure dimensional accuracy, quality, and surface finish as per approved drawings.
  • Inspect cut plates, angles, and sections for correct dimensions, burr-free edges, and squareness.
  • Ensure compliance with approved cutting plans and minimize material wastage.
  • Perform stage-wise and random inspection of fabricated formwork sections.
  • Inspect incoming raw materials.
  • Perform mechanical property tests to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for correct material ordering and delivery.
  • Approve unloading only after QC clearance.
  • Conduct inspections at all stages: preparation to dispatch.
  • Perform/review as per the inspection plan.
  • Ensure calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
  • Maintain inspection checklists, quality records, and inspection clearance reports.
  • Provide regular QC updates to management and project teams.
