Placement Director

As a Placement Coordinator, your role will involve coordinating with industries to provide vocational training courses and organizing on-campus and off-campus interviews for students. You will collaborate with the Industry-Institute interaction coordinator to arrange webinars and lectures by professionals. Developing a Placement Preparation Module for campus placements and gathering feedback from companies to review student performance in the corporate sector are crucial aspects of your responsibilities. Your duties include organizing workshops and seminars for training managers and faculty members, arranging soft skills and interview-facing skills training, and preparing placement reports post Placement Drive/Job Fairs. Enhancing collaborations with industries and associations, conducting meetings with Training and Placement Officers (TPOs), and creating a Management Information System (MIS) for tracking student placements are also key responsibilities. Furthermore, you will assist students in developing job search strategies, integrate career planning into the academic curriculum, and provide resources for the career-planning process. Acting as a liaison between students, alumni, and the employment community, creating awareness about career options, and conducting student assessments regularly will also be part of your job responsibilities.,
