Factory Manager

The Factory Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the chemical manufacturing unit. This role ensures that production, quality, safety, and cost targets are achieved while maintaining compliance with statutory and environmental regulations.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Manage end-to-end factory operations including production, maintenance, stores, logistics, and administration.

* Ensure production schedules are met in line with demand and business plans.

* Monitor plant performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and efficiency.

* Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, statutory norms, and environmental guidelines.

* Coordinate with quality assurance to maintain product standards.

* Optimize resource utilization including manpower, raw materials, utilities, and energy.

* Lead, motivate, and develop factory staff for higher performance and accountability.

* Prepare and monitor budgets, cost control, and factory performance reports.

* Liaise with external agencies for compliance audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements.

* Provide leadership and strategic direction for the entire plant, covering production, engineering, quality, supply chain, and EHS.

* Develop and implement plant strategies to achieve business goals, profitability, and growth.

* Drive a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across all levels.

* Manage budgets, P\&L responsibility, and cost optimization measures.

* Plan and oversee capacity expansion, technology upgrades, and process improvement projects.

### *Qualifications & Experience:*

* Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related field.

* 1015 years of experience in chemical or process industry, with at least 35 years in a managerial role.

* Strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, safety standards, and statutory compliance's.

* Proven ability to lead teams and drive operational excellence.
