Web Data Engineer Intern
for a 3-6 month remote/part-time role hours/week). You'll build and optimize web scraping tools, APIs, and data pipelines to fuel our AI engine with diverse, high-quality datasets. This is a hands-on opportunity to create innovative data solutions, hone your coding skills, and contribute to cutting-edge AI projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop Data Tools:
    Design and implement web scrapers, crawlers, and automation scripts (Python preferred) to collect data from websites, APIs, and public datasets (e.g., social media, news, open repositories).
  • Optimize Pipelines:
    Build efficient, scalable tools using libraries like BeautifulSoup, Selenium, or Scrapy to streamline data collection.
  • Ensure Data Quality:
    Clean, validate, and structure data, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Collaborate:
    Work with AI engineers to align data tools with model needs, iterate on solutions, and share progress updates.
  • Innovate:
    Experiment with new methods, like automated semantic search or integrating with platforms like Hugging Face, to enhance data workflows.

What We're Looking For:

  • Current student or recent grad in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Comfort with programming (Python preferred; familiarity with web scraping tools is a plus but not required—we'll guide you).
  • Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn about AI data pipelines.
  • Attention to detail and awareness of ethical data practices.
  • Bonus: Experience with web scraping, APIs, or data tools like Pandas or Scrapy.
