About The Role
We are looking for an experienced
Leader in Infrastructure and Platform Engineering
to lead our infrastructure, reliability, and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive scalability, security, and performance across our global platforms, while building and mentoring a high-performing platform engineering team.

You will work closely with engineering, product, and security teams to design resilient systems, ensure high availability, and champion operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the strategy for Platform Engineering, with a focus on Kubernetes and DevOps, aligning with business objectives. Develop a roadmap to enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance, ensuring alignment with Liminal's growth and innovation goals.
  • Oversee design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure).Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation.
  • Implement automation for CI/CD pipelines ensuring rapid, reliable, and secure software delivery.
  • Ensure 24x7 availability and reliability of production systems.Lead incident response, postmortems, and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
  • Set and uphold reliability metrics for critical services, ensuring customer-impacting issues are minimized.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud usage and infrastructure costs.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • years in software engineering or infrastructure roles, with 5+ years in a senior leadership position.
  • Strong expertise in AWS / GCP / Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.).
  • Experience in Blockchain, Web3 domain would be a competitive advantage.
  • Proficiency in IAC tooling CloudFormation, Ansible and Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems concepts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
