Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Duty Doctor at Maharishi Ayurveda Hospital, located in Delhi, India. The Duty Doctor will be responsible for providing patient care, conducting clinical examinations, and documenting medical histories. Responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, administering personalized treatments based on Ayurvedic principles, and offering guidance on Ayurvedic practices and lifestyle modifications. The role requires close collaboration with the hospital's team of Vaidyas and healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Ayurvedic principles, including Pulse Diagnosis, Panchakarma Therapies, and Ayurvedic Medicine
  • Skills in patient care, clinical examinations, and medical history documentation
  • Understanding of Vedic wellness therapies, such as Therapeutic Yoga Asanas, Transcendental Meditation, and Vedic Diet & Nutrition
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster compassionate patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Medical degree (BAMS or equivalent) with valid registration and experience in an Ayurvedic clinical setup
  • Dedication to the principles of Ayurveda and a commitment to holistic, consciousness-based healthcare
  • Experience in modern medical practices relevant to integrative healthcare is a plus
