About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading engineering team in Canada. The role involves designing, reviewing, and optimizing electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects. The successful candidate will ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards while leading technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and oversee electrical systems for large-scale projects.
  • Review and approve technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and system diagnostics.
  • Ensure adherence to safety codes, quality standards, and regulations.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to junior engineers.
  • Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5-7+ years of proven experience in electrical design and project execution.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD software and electrical design tools.
  • Familiarity with international electrical codes and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Leadership experience in managing engineering teams is an advantage.
  • Open to relocating to Canada.
