About the Position

JKS is seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounts Manager to lead the Finance and Accounts functions of the organization. The position will be based in Visakhapatnam and will oversee all financial operations, compliance, and reporting processes across multiple projects. The Accounts Manager will also mentor and supervise the Accounts Officers and MIS Officer within the finance team.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall Finance and Accounts functions of JKS, ensuring sound financial management across all projects.
  • Oversee fund management, accounting operations, and timely preparation of financial statements.
  • Ensure full compliance with FCRA, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
  • Review and consolidate donor financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to donor and organizational requirements.
  • Coordinate and support internal, statutory, and donor audits, ensuring timely submission and follow-up.
  • Maintain effective financial systems, controls, and documentation as per best practices.
  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses for management review.
  • Supervise, guide, and mentor Accounts Officers and the MIS Officer, building team capacity and ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting.
  • Liaise with project teams, donors, and statutory authorities to ensure smooth financial operations and transparent reporting.
  • Strengthen the organization's internal financial policies, processes, and accountability mechanisms.

Qualification & Experience

  • Education: B. Com or M. Com (preferably with professional accounting certifications).
  • Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts management in the NGO/development sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Tally, FCRA, Income Tax, and donor financial reporting is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-project finances and lead a small finance team effectively.
