MasterCam Programmer

A Mastercam 5-axis programmer develops and optimizes complex CNC programs using Mastercam software for multi-axis machines, creating toolpaths for intricate parts, reading CAD/CAM data, selecting tools, setting feeds/speeds, troubleshooting, and collaborating with production to ensure precision, quality, and efficiency in manufacturing, often in industries like aerospace or defense. Key Responsibilities:

• Programming: Create, edit, and optimize 5-axis CNC programs (milling, turning, live tooling) using Mastercam for complex geometries.
• Design Interpretation: Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D CAD models (SolidWorks, etc.).
• Strategy Development: Determine optimal machining strategies, tool selection, feeds, speeds, and cutting paths for various materials (metals, composites).
• Machine Operation: Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot 5-axis CNC machines (VMC, HMC).
• Quality & Compliance: Perform quality checks, ensure adherence to standards (AS9100), and use precision measuring equipment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams.
• Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Mastercam 5-axis CAM software.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining principles and multi-axis movements.
• Familiarity with various materials and precision inspection tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and mechanical skills.
• Experience in Aerospace, Oil & Gas, or Defense industries is often preferred

Pay: ₹50, ₹80,000.00 per month
