Role & responsibilities

  • Provide expert consultation and manage all patients attending the department.
  • Provide and ensure Pre and Post OP care to patients
  • Effectively and efficiently carry out the clinical work.
  • Academic activities, in house as well as representation of the hospital at national and international level.
  • Impart Training to junior consultants and residents in the field of Minimal Access Surgery(Gynae)
  • Contribution to activities of professional associates.
  • To perform various Minimal Access Surgery(Gynae) procedures both open and laparoscopic
  • Provide prescription narcotics as and when required.
  • Ensure that equipment in the department is functioning satisfactorily or will take necessary corrective action to ensure this.
  • May be required to serve on various Committees connected with the working of the Hospital.
  • Support the hospital in its various initiatives and committees to ensure better patient care and safety.
  • To participate and support the CMEs in the hospital
  • To ensure that the documentation and medical records of the patients are maintained in order for future reference.
  • Abiding and upholding the hospital rules.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the management
