Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for a Staff Software Engineer. The responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications, with a focus on back-end web development. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the role will involve problem-solving, implementing efficient solutions, and contributing to overall software architecture. The engineer will also ensure code quality, perform troubleshooting, and provide mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals and principles
  • Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining web applications
  • Experience with Software Development and Programming in modern languages
  • Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design patterns
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative, remote teams
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior developers
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, APIs, and modern development tools is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
