Job Description

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in embedded software testing, verification, and validation. The role involves working on safety-critical systems following DO-178B/C guidelines, performing unit and integration testing, creating test designs, and ensuring code quality through MC/DC and structural coverage. The engineer will work with tools like RTRT, Polyspace, and ATGS, and should have strong skills in Embedded C/C++ programming, embedded debugging, and documentation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform IV&V for embedded software components as per DO-178B/C standards.
  • Develop unit test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
  • Execute unit testing and softwaresoftware integration testing using RTRT.
  • Conduct MC/DC coverage, requirement coverage, and structural code coverage.
  • Identify runtime errors and defects using Polyspace Bug Finder and Code Prover.
  • Perform functional, structural, static, and dynamic testing.
  • Ensure compliance with MISRA C and project coding standards.
  • Participate in peer reviews, documentation, and issue reporting (TIR).
  • Validate SCADE models and embedded control logic.
  • Work with embedded communication protocols like I2C, SPI, and UART.

Required Skills

  • Strong programming in Embedded C, C++
  • Hands on experience in Verification and Validation
  • Hands-on experience with RTRT, Polyspace, and automation test tools.
  • Knowledge of DO-178B processes and embedded testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of SPI, UART, I2C protocols.
  • Experience in MC/DC coverage, static/dynamic analysis, and defect tracking.
  • Good analytical, debugging, and documentation skills.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments.
