About the role:

We are looking for a Media Research Specialist with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical abilities. The ideal candidate will excel in researching media personalities; extracting relevant information from various sources, and analyzing data for actionable insights. This role requires excellent research skills, media proficiency and strong command over the English language.

Key Responsibilities:


• Media Research: Conduct in-depth research on media personalities; gathering accurate and comprehensive information from online and offline sources.

• Article Analysis: Read and understand articles related to media figures, identifying and extracting key details for further analysis.

• Social Media Data Extraction: Extract and analyze data from social media platforms to monitor trends and gather insights on media personalities.

• Internet Surfing: Efficiently use the internet to source information.

• Data Management: Use MS Excel or Google Sheets to organize, manage, and analyze research data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

• Analytical Thinking: Apply strong analytical skills to interpret researched data.

• Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate research findings through reports, presentations, and team discussions

Required Skills:

  • 0–1 years of experience

  • Strong social media detail extraction and good research skills

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Windows operating systems

  • Good communication skills for clear articulation of research findings

  • Good analytical skills to assess and interpret data accurately

  • Experience with internet surfing for research purposes

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience in media research or a similar role is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with current media trends and key personalities.

  • Preferred academic background in BMM or a related field.
