Job description:

Urgent hire for New Panvel location.

Job role reports to our office in Panvel. Hybrid model of 2-3 days office can be explored for high

performing employees.

The ASP.Net Engineer brings passion to the web-first, mobile-first development process and is

responsible for the underlying architecture for programs/systems by creating code along with working

with other members of the development team (local and offshore) utilizing .NET Framework (C#, VB and

.NET) with proficiencies in ASP .NET Core, MS SQL, Jquery, Handlebars, Bootstrap, etc. The role covers

task spanning the design, development, coding, customization, configuration, testing and deployment in

support of SaaS based and mobile applications.

Duties /Responsibilities

Primary Functions:

Responsible for producing quality code utilizing .NET Framework (C#, VB and .NET) and

proficient in ASP .NET Core, MS SQL, Jquery, Handlebars, Bootstrap. SignalR experience is a plus

Able to handle all aspects of the application, including but not limited to performance,

scalability, security and testing both locally and using AWS

Utilizes established development tools, guidelines and conventions applicable to the design,

development, and unit testing of applications including the use of Visual Studio, Gitlab

Manages defect tracking system and works to resolve any issues/defects in the code for all

applications

Enhances existing systems by analyzing business objectives and preparing actions plans to

support identified areas for modifications and improvements

Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code and package, test and

determine deployment strategies of all version releases

Work with teammates in the migration of legacy applications to current technologies --develop,

refine, and tune integrations between applications

Analyze and resolve technical and application problems while assessing opportunities for

application and process improvement

Recommends information technology strategies, policies and procedures by evaluating the

organization s desired outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating relevant trends and

anticipating obstacles to accomplish business requirements

Develop and maintain all documentation related to coding and any implementation issues to

keep all parties involved

Able to adhere to high-quality development and systems management principles while

delivering solutions on-time and on-budget

Coordination/Compliance Functions:

Coordinates/consults with subject matter experts throughout the organization; helping to arrive

at a consensus to determine application requirements and outcomes while translating those

into effective coding that best supports the applications, processes, and targeted users

Provide support to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (i. e., HIPAA and

other Privacy Laws, PCI and/or Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.) verifying necessary protocols are integrated

into all large-scale global enterprise applications

Handle system changes for signature updates, patches and upgrades

Non-Technical Functions:

Self-starter with the ability to work under light supervision, passionate, ambitious self -starter

with ability to show consistent progress throughout the project and/or tasks as outlined is

paramount to the success of this position

Able to work well independently or in collaboration with team members with varied

personalities

Able to clearly communicate verbally and in written form articulating complex thoughts and

ideas in small or large group settings

Excellent interpersonal communication skills including telephone/video and email

communications; ability to provide scope of project status, identify problem areas with next

steps and additional needs

Provides superior customer service to internal and external customers, working patiently and

effectively through each issue with confidence

Necessary Experience/Skillset:

5+ years of design and/or development experience with .NET, C#, ASP .NET Core, Angular,

Windows Forms and SQL, Server in an N-tier architecture (client-server architecture) concept

Thorough understanding and ability to use Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) planning,

design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance along with Agile methodologies for

the creation of high-quality cost-effective products/applications

Strong background in object-oriented development techniques, solution design patterns and

best practices Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

Database design and development (Microsoft SQL Server); experience with Web Services

Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) is a plus

Experience with concurrent development source control (Gitlab) is preferred

Familiarity with cloud-based SaaS solutions and configurations for application security and

performance is preferred

3+ years experience with configuring and managing a Cloud hosting environment

Education Requirements:

Bachelors Degree or Masters in Information Technology, Software Engineering or other related

coursework is required

.NET Framework Certification and relevant hands-on experience

Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) is a plus

Angular and Angular JS Certification is a plus

Additional Requirements:

Must be able to provide proof of identity and appropriate documentation when required

Regular and predictable attendance is required

Ability to maintain confidentiality of client and customer information with access to personnel

and financial data

Must be able to sit for long periods of time in a primarily sedentary typical office environment,

but able to move about the workplace to meet with internal clients and other workers

Occasional meetings with clients on-site may be required

Must have the visual acuity of long hours in front of monitor and typing on a keyboard with

multiple keystrokes a day
