Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a PostgreSQL Administrator located in Chennai. The PostgreSQL Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the database infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include database installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery management, security, and ensuring high availability of the databases. The role also involves monitoring database health, troubleshooting, and supporting teams with database-related queries.

  • Skills in database performance tuning and optimization
  • Knowledge of backup and recovery management
  • Experience with database security and ensuring data integrity
  • Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery solutions
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience in the technology staffing industry is a plus
