Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle database administration (backup, recovery, performance tuning).
  • Experience with SAP installations, system copies, migrations, and upgrades.
  • Knowledge of SAP transport management and SAP Security concepts.
  • Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, etc.).
  • Perform daily SAP BASIS administration tasks, including client copy, system refresh, and transport management.
  • Manage and optimize Oracle database performance, backup, recovery, and patching activities.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to SAP and Oracle environments.
  • Apply SAP Notes, support packages, kernel upgrades, and enhancement packs.
  • Coordinate with functional, technical, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth system operations.
  • Implement and manage system security, user administration, and authorization profiles.
  • Support SAP migrations, database upgrades, and Unicode conversions.
  • Prepare system documentation, operational procedures, and reports.
  • Familiarity with Solution Manager, SAP HANA (added advantage).
  • Understanding of operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Provide 24x7 support for critical production issues on a rotational basis.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
