Job Title: Punjabi General Knowledge

To deliver high-quality instruction and materials in Punjabi General Knowledge to students preparing for competitive exams (state services, SSC, PSSSB, police, patwari etc.). The instructor will develop and deliver lessons, conduct tests, monitor student progress, and update content according to current exam patterns and syllabus of the state of Punjab.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a syllabus in Punjabi for General Knowledge covering the state of Punjab and India (history, geography, polity, economy, culture, current affairs etc.).
• Prepare teaching materials (notes, slides, handouts, quizzes/tests) in Punjabi (or bilingual) for students.
• Deliver classroom/web sessions on topics such as:
• History of Punjab (from medieval to modern era)
• Geography of Punjab: rivers, topography, districts etc.
• Political/administrative structure of Punjab and India (state & central)
• Economy of Punjab: agriculture, industries, demographics.
• Culture, literature, cinema, sports of Punjab.
• Current affairs relevant to Punjab & national level.
• Conduct regular mock tests, quiz sessions and evaluate the performance of students; provide feedback and remedial coaching.
• Stay updated with changes in exam patterns and syllabus for various competitive exams in Punjab (e.g., Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB)) to ensure alignment. )
• Maintain and update a repository of MCQs (multiple-choice questions) and previous-year papers relevant to Punjab GK. )

Qualifications & Skills

• A graduate (Bachelor's degree) in Arts, Social Science, or relevant discipline. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Good proficiency in Punjabi (reading, writing, speaking) and comfortable teaching in Punjabi medium and/or bilingual (Punjabi & English).
• Strong knowledge of Punjab's history, geography, polity, economy and current affairs.
• Experience in teaching competitive exams (state-level) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Experience

• Ideally 1-2 years of teaching experience in competitive exam preparation or similar educational role.
• Familiarity with previous papers of Punjab GK sections and pattern of state exams.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Percentage of students clearing the GK section of competitive exams.
• Improvement in test scores of students (pre- and post- coaching).
• Quality/timeliness of study materials and mock tests delivered.
• Student feedback and retention rate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
