Store Assistant

Job Purpose:

The Store Assistant will support in maintaining proper stock records, handling material receipts and issues, ensuring safe storage, and assisting in day-to-day store operations to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials at the site/office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in receiving, checking, and recording incoming materials and supplies.
• Issue materials to site staff or departments as per requirements and approvals.
• Maintain proper stock records in register/software on daily basis.
• Support the Store Keeper in conducting physical verification of stock.
• Ensure proper storage of materials to prevent damage, loss, or wastage.
• Keep store area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist in preparation of daily/weekly/monthly stock reports.
• Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and site teams for smooth material movement.
• Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies immediately to the Store Keeper/Manager.
• Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and arrangement of materials.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum qualification: Graduate / 12th pass (commerce/related field preferred).
• Prior experience of 1–3 years in stores/inventory management (construction/industrial preferred).
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory software (if applicable).
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and record-keeping ability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support site requirements.

• Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
