Job Overview:
As a Computer Hardware Engineer at Bluetech computers, you will play a crucial role in designing, testing, and implementing hardware components and systems to meet our company's objectives. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and deployment of our hardware products.
Responsibilities:
- Hardware Design: Design and develop computer hardware components, including CPUs, memory modules, motherboards, and peripheral devices, ensuring they meet performance and quality standards.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation procedures to ensure hardware components and systems meet specified requirements, including functionality, durability, and compatibility.
- Prototyping: Create prototypes and proof-of-concept models to assess the feasibility and performance of new hardware designs.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with software engineers, firmware developers, and other team members to integrate hardware components into complete systems.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve hardware-related issues and defects, providing technical support to resolve customer inquiries and problems.
- Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in computer hardware. Contribute to the development of innovative hardware solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of hardware designs, testing procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in computer hardware design and development.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and hardware simulation tools.
- Strong knowledge of hardware components, architecture, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with FPGA and ASIC design.
- Familiarity with embedded systems development.
- Knowledge of power management and thermal design.
