1 Core Clinical Responsibilities
Patient Examination & Diagnosis Take proper history, perform clinical examination, and arrive at a provisional/working diagnosis. Order appropriate investigations (blood tests, X-rays, USG, etc.) when needed. 2 Treatment & Prescription Prescribe rational, evidence-based medicines. Write legible, legal prescriptions (with registration number, date, signature). Follow standard treatment guidelines and avoid over-prescription or unnecessary antibiotics/steroids. 3 Emergency Management Recognize and initially stabilize common emergencies.
