KST Manager

About Us:

Merlis Hotels is a renowned name in Coimbatore's hospitality landscape, offering luxury accommodation, fine dining, and exceptional service. We are seeking a skilled and proactive KST Manager to lead our Kitchen Stewarding operations and ensure the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and efficiency across all F&B areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all kitchen stewarding operations across outlets and banquets.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchens, storage, and dishwashing areas.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and kitchen equipment.
• Coordinate with the Executive Chef and F&B Manager to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Implement and monitor hygiene, safety, and waste management procedures.
• Train and motivate stewarding staff to deliver consistent performance.
• Ensure proper maintenance and functioning of dishwashing machines and related equipment.
• Control breakage, reduce wastage, and optimize resources effectively.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in kitchen stewarding, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong understanding of hotel hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred.
