VTL & Lathe Operator – Forging Industry

Experience: 2–5 Years

Qualification: 12th / ITI (Turner / Machinist / Fitter)

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Industry: Forging / Heavy Engineering

Department: Production – Machine Shop

Location: Ghaziabad

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate VTL & Lathe machines for machining forged components
  • Handle heavy forgings with proper clamping & safety
  • Read and work as per engineering/forging drawings
  • Perform turning, facing, boring, grooving, threading, etc.
  • Inspect components using Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, and Bore Gauge
  • Ensure machining accuracy & tool maintenance

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in machining forged or heavy steel components
  • Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds & feeds
  • Ability to work with overhead cranes/lifting tools (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of safety practices in forging/machine shop
