Summary of the Role: Engine testing and calibration. Vehicle functional calibration, OBDII calibration. DPF and SCR calibration and Monitoring Field issue, COP issue analysis. Experience in field failure analysis and problem solving.

Details of the Job :

  • Experience with diesel engines development, engine subsystem, or component development.
  • Exposure and proficiency with engine test lab equipment, data acquisition, and data analysis tools, for example, hands on experience in Calibration software (INCA, VISU, etc.), expert knowledge of data analysis software (Uniplot, AVL Concerto, MATLAB etc.) and data management tools (AVL - PUMA CAMEO, Indicom etc.)
  • Experience in Calibration, Testing, Analysis and Optimization to achieve engine/ vehicle performance and emission targets (exclusively BS6 related) including HW Selection steady state emission optimization, emission development on transient dyno or chassis dynamometer. DSM checks and verification, Fault handling and error diagnosis
  • Prepare/ understand EMS calibration requirement document.
  • Knowledge of CMVR test procedures and legislation (BS6 specific) both ED and CD Route projects (WHSC, WHTC, WLTP, RDE, In-Service, IUPR etc.)
  • DPF and SCR calibration and Monitoring
  • Field issue / COP issue analysis/ Other supports, Experience in field failure analysis and problem solving
  • Hands on experience on Test Instrumentation
  • Knowledge of ETAS tool
  • Knowledge of sensors, actuators and wiring harness
  • Able to use Mass Emissions, Chassis Dyno & Engine Dyno instrument
