We are hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer with 3-6 years of experience in Product development to support the design and Development of our products, making them reliable and smart. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative and high-quality products to market. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our organization and ensure that we continue to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product/Automotive Design: Collaborate with the product design team to create and refine product concepts, specifications, and designs. Ensure products are manufacturable, reliable, and cost-effective.
• Engineering Analysis: Perform engineering calculations, simulations(ANSYS/Hyperworks ) and analyzes to validate designs and make data-driven decisions
• Prototyping: Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept models to validate product concepts and designs. Use tools such as CAD software and 3D printers to bring ideas to life.
• Material Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate materials for product components, considering factors like strength, durability, cost, and environmental impact.
• Testing and Validation: Plan and conduct various tests to ensure product performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Document and analyze test results.
• Manufacturability: Work with manufacturing teams to optimize product designs for efficient production. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce production costs.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and improve existing products. Identify areas for enhancement, cost reduction, or performance optimization.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams such as product management, marketing, and quality assurance to ensure product development aligns with market requirements and customer needs.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of design changes, test results, and project progress. Prepare technical documentation, including product specifications, user manuals, and assembly instructions.
• Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet product development goals.
• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Introduce innovative ideas and solutions to improve product designs and development processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in product development/Automobile or a related engineering role
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other relevant design tools.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, calculations, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Experience with design analysis techniques, such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative design solutions.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with product testing and validation methods.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams and present ideas and designs to stakeholders
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and market demands.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality designs that meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements.
