Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our organization's IT infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of network systems, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies. The IT Infrastructure Engineer will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our IT environment, enabling the efficient operation of our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Design and Implementation:

  • Design and implement robust and scalable IT infrastructure solutions, including network, server, storage, and virtualization environments.

  • Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and expansions.

  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve infrastructure performance and efficiency.

  • Network Management:

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

  • Monitor network performance and ensure network security.

  • Implement and manage VLANs, and other network services.

  • Server Management:

  • Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows, Linux).

  • Manage storage systems (NetApp) and ensure data availability and integrity.
  • Implement and manage Commvault backup and disaster recovery solutions.

  • Manage and maintain virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V).

  • Storage Management:

  • Install, configure, and manage NetApp FAS storage systems.

  • Provision and manage storage volumes, LUNs, and shares.
  • Monitor storage performance and capacity, and proactively address potential issues.
  • Implement and manage NetApp SnapMirror, SnapVault, and other data replication and backup technologies.

  • Perform regular storage system health checks and maintenance.

  • System Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

  • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related problems in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations and procedures.

  • Documentation and Reporting:

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of all infrastructure configurations, procedures, and changes.

  • Generate regular reports on infrastructure performance and availability.

  • Maintain asset inventory.

  • Collaboration and Support:

  • Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of systems.

  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve escalated issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching).

  • Proficiency in server administration (Windows Server, Linux).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Knowledge of storage systems (NetApp).

  • Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is a plus.

  • Certifications (Preferred):

  • CCNA

  • Microsoft Certified: MCSA

  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and priorities.
