About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
Senior SAP ABAP Developer
with strong hands-on expertise in
RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model)
and
SAP BTP
to build
cloud-ready, clean-core extensions
on
S/4HANA
and
SAP BTP
.

This role focuses on developing scalable backend services,
RAP-based business objects
,
OData APIs
, and enabling
Fiori/UI5
consumption using modern ABAP and CDS.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications on
    S/4HANA
    using
    Modern ABAP, RAP, CDS, and OData
  • Build RAP-based
    Business Objects (BOs)
    with behavior definitions and validations
  • Develop and deploy
    cloud extensions on SAP BTP
    (ABAP environment / Cloud Foundry / Kyma)
  • Integrate S/4HANA with
    SAP HANA Cloud
    and third-party systems using
    APIs & events
  • Optimize performance using
    CDS, AMDP, and analytical views
  • Ensure compliance with
    SAP Clean Core
    principles and coding standards
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and product owners
  • Troubleshoot backend, integration, and BTP-related issues


Required Skills & Experience

  • 6–8 years
    of SAP ABAP development experience (S/4HANA)
  • Strong hands-on expertise in
    ABAP RAP
    (BO modeling, EML, draft handling)
  • Experience with
    CDS Views (Analytical & Transactional), OData, AMDP
  • Practical exposure to
    SAP BTP
    (ABAP environment, integrations, destinations, events)
  • Knowledge of
    SAP Fiori/UI5 consumption
    (Fiori Elements, annotations)
  • Familiarity with
    Clean Core
    , transports, version control, and Agile/Scrum
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
