Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our client's office in Powai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day IT operations, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network infrastructure, and ensuring smooth functioning of all IT systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware.
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues, including LAN/WAN, switches, and routers.
  • Manage and maintain servers, backup systems, and IT infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of networks and servers.
  • Assist with user account management, access control, and system security.
  • Support virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement or repair.
  • Maintain documentation of IT assets, processes, and issue logs.
  • Ensure timely resolution of support tickets and provide excellent user support.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or infrastructure roles.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, server management, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V) is an advantage.
  • Preferred certifications: CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA A+/N+ or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of Windows, Linux, and basic cloud concepts.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
