JOB TITLE: Credit Controller

REPORTS TO: Finance Controller

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the collection and maintenance of debtor ledger

Location : Delhi , Jasola.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Credit Control:

Responsible for collection of money from all Corporate, Key Accounts, and Consumer Accounts

Cash collections

Collection forecasts

Keeping the OD% within acceptable threshold

Account reconciliations

Reporting:

Weekly update of OD Status and progress

Other related reports as and when required

Database responsibility for own accounts

Keeping a record of all communication

Query/dispute handling and escalations

Relationship building with both internal stakeholders and external customers

Bad Debts provisioning working

Keeping track of likely bad Debts

Provide data and back up as may be required by Auditor.

Travel to Customer place as and when required.

Sales ledger

Sending copy invoices on a per request basis.

Filing and archiving

Teamwork

Working with the team to ensure reaching of monthly targets

Assisting other members of the team and Finance Department as and when required.

Assisting the Billings Department to resolve queries, raise correct invoices and ensure systems

are up-to-date

Identification of key areas for improvement

Reviewing and improving collection process to optimize cash collection performance.

Maintain healthy relationship with Sales and other team members.

Any ad-hoc requests by the Financial Controller

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Experience

Minimum 3 years experience in Credit Collection

Proven experience in dealing with a blue-chip client database

Proven experience in dealing with difficult accounts

Experience in multi-currency highly desirable

Some experience on private accounts would be an advantage

Interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with internal and external clients at all

levels

Excellent organisational skills

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to remain accurate and efficient under pressure

Ability to priorities and meet deadlines

Proficiency with MS Office applications, with advanced Excel skills
