Job Summary:

We are seeking
Backend Developer with 0 to 2 years'
experience in
FastAPI or Flask, SQL, and PostgreSQL
to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable backend services and APIs. You will also work closely with front-end developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration and data flow between the backend and the front-end of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:


•
Backend API Development:
Design and develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs using FastAPI or Flask.


•
Database Management:
Design, implement, and optimize database queries for PostgreSQL and other relational databases.


•
Database Design and Optimization:
Architect scalable and optimized database solutions using PostgreSQL.


•
Security and Authentication:
Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).


•
Asynchronous Programming:
Develop asynchronous functions and tasks using FastAPI's support for asynchronous programming.


•
Collaboration and Code Reviews:
Work closely with frontend developers to integrate FastAPI backend services into user-facing applications.


•
Testing and Debugging:
Write comprehensive unit tests and integration tests using pytest.


•
Deployment and Scaling:
Deploy backend services to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).


•
Documentation:
Maintain clear and concise API documentation using OpenAPI and Swagger UI.

Required Skills:


•
FastAPI or Flask:
Expertise in building FastAPI or Flask-based backend applications.


•
SQL:
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, aggregations, and transactions.


•
PostgreSQL (PSQL):
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and related database management tools.


•
Cloud Platforms and Containerization:
Familiarity with deploying applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.


•
Security Best Practices
: Understanding of OAuth2, JWT, and API security best practices.


•
Testing:
Experience writing automated tests using pytest and unittest for Python applications.


•
Version Control:
Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaboration.

Additional Advantage:


• Good knowledge of AI/ML concepts and experience implementing AI/ML models in backend applications.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).


• Strong experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.


• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern deployment practices.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
