SAP Basis Administrator
The SAP BASIS Administrator partners with internal and external functional, technical and security resources to maintain the life-cycle management, security, and performance of Qorvo's SAP and On Prem systems along with cloud environment. Responsible for running the SAP landscape (managing routine maintenance, operation, and upgrades), and plays a critical role in planning and executing migrations and other major projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the implementation, configuration and management of all the SAP on-prem and on cloud systems, including but not limited to, SAP ECC, SAP S/4 Hana, SAP Fiori, SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM), SAP PO/PI, SAP Business Objects, SAP BI Platform and SAP Solution Manager. Guide the application of corrections and transport required by the application team to ensure the integrity of these systems.
• Configure and maintain the integration between on-prem SAP and non-SAP systems as well as the ones between on-prem SAP and other cloud systems like Ariba, Success Factors and IBP, via the use of SAP PO/PI, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP BTP, Integration Suite and HCI-DS agents.
• Perform the implementation of overall security strategies and schemes to ensure the proper level of authorization is provided for all users of all the SAP systems - both on-prem and cloud systems. Work with the development teams for deploying these strategies throughout the Qorvo organization and adhere with SOX guidelines.
• Monitor the system performance on a regular basis against the performance benchmarks, and proactively identify future issues and plan to optimize performance.
• During critical problems, become the single point of contact to the SAP OSS system. Record and track problems as they occur, perform updates to the system in the form of repairs, and coordinate updates with the application group.
• Execute the upgrades for the on-prem SAP systems including the integration components like the Cloud Connector and HCI-DS agents. This includes Support Packages and release level upgrades. Ensure that all components like SAP Kernel and Database remain current.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related field with at least 5+ years of experience (or equivalent combination of an advanced degree and experience) in SAP Basis administration, Implementation, Upgrades, Support and Migration
• Knowledge of SAP system architecture, database management, and operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows)
• Experience in working on SAP projects and support independently
• Proficiency in SAP system monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and security compliance
• Experience working with internal and external auditors; gathering and producing required documentation and verbally articulating measures for auditing points
• Candidates must be willing to work in the US time zone as and when required
• Proficient in English is a must as the role will be collaborating with global stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications within SAP
• Experience working within SAP Cloud, BTP
• SAP Life Cycle Implementation Experience
