Job Title: OFC Technician (Cabling, Splicing, Laying & Networking)

Location: Mysore

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled OFC Technician with hands-on experience in Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) activities, including cabling, splicing, cable laying, and networking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform OFC cable laying (underground/overhead) and proper route management.
  • Conduct splicing, jointing, and termination of fiber optic cables.
  • Handle OTDR testing, power meter testing, and fault localization.
  • Ensure proper documentation of fiber routes, splicing details, and test results.
  • Coordinate with the networking team for LAN/WAN installation and configuration.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network issues related to cabling and connectivity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and project quality requirements.
  • Provide on-site technical support for installation and maintenance activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma/ITI/BE in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • Proven experience in OFC cabling, splicing, and laying.
  • Good knowledge of networking basics (LAN, WAN, switches, routers).
  • Ability to read and understand network diagrams and fiber layouts.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work on field projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Fiber Optics or Networking will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of structured cabling systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200, ₹300,000.00 per year
