Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Home Health Medical Coder based in Bengaluru, with some work from home acceptable. The Home Health Medical Coder will be responsible for accurate ICD-10-CM coding, reviewing OASIS documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations. The coder will perform day-to-day tasks including coding patient records, conducting audits, and improving clinical documentation. In addition, the coder will use AI-driven tools for coding and workflow automation to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Medical Coding and ICD-10-CM Coding and Oasis
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Health Information Management
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in coding
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory guidelines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field is preferred
