Role & responsibilities

Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of concurrent auditors, ensuring their

skills and performance are aligned with the audit plan

  • Audit Planning and Execution: Develop and execute audit plans, including determining audit

objectives, scope, and criteria.

  • Assessing Controls: Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying weaknesses and

recommending improvements.

  • Compliance review: Ensure adherence to NBFC regulations, RBI guidelines, and industry best

practices.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes and internal controls, and

recommend enhancements to mitigate risk.

  • Data Analysis: Analyse data to identify trends and anomalies, and to support audit findings.
  • Fraud Prevention: Identify suspicious activity and potential fraud, investigation & reporting any

issues to management.

  • Report Preparation: Maintain comprehensive audit work papers, including findings,

recommendations, action plans prepare detailed audit reports, and track the status of audit

findings.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to

discuss audit findings and closure of issues.

Preferred candidate profile

Knowledge of Auditing Standards: Understanding of auditing principles, procedures, and

relevant regulatory requirements.


• Financial Acumen: Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial statements,

accounting principles, and financial regulations.


• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting

and collaboration.


• Problem-solving Skills: Ability to identify, analyse, and resolve audit issues and recommend

solutions.


• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, LMS & LOS system.
