We are hiring Technical Engineers for our esteemed Danish client to join and contribute to a newly established and expanding internal sales team in India.

They manufacture a wide range of solutions in collaboration with global partners and suppliers, alongside our proprietary product range.

About the Role:

As a Technical Engineer based in our Chennai, India office, candidate will play a critical role in the establishment and growth of clients Indian operations alongside their country manager. This position requires good knowledge in AutoCAD, familiarity with other electrical design software and the ability to handle a range of responsibilities from design to production support. Desired candidate will work closely with customers and colleagues across India, China, and Denmark to deliver innovative in-design solutions and customized products for large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers to identify and provide the most effective technical solutions.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD design, draw, prepare technical documentation and electrical design layout while ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with Sales and project management teams to provide accurate and competitive RFQ responses.
• Perform calculations and develop cost-effective solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Source solutions from subcontractors and manage relationships to ensure high standards.
• Participate minimally in workshop execution tasks as required.
• Handle large-scale projects with attention to detail and risk mitigation to deliver seamless infrastructure solutions, including cables, plants, relays, transformers, and technology.
• Interact with customers to understand their technical needs and provide design solutions tailored to their requirements.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives, identify and implement process improvements to on time delivery.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 to 7 yrs of Experience in Electrical design, prototyping and production support in the electrical manufacturing industry.

• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, experience with electrical layout, testing equipment and procedures.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet the deadlines effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues.

• Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards, such as IEC 61400, UL related to Renewable energy projects.

• Excellent communication in English and Hindi and collaboration skills to work effectively with global customers and teams.

• Attention to detail and the ability to manage complex projects with a focus on quality and risk management.

• Passion for green energy and sustainable infrastructure solution.

• Good knowledge of MS Office as well as various reporting tools including CRM and ERP systems.
