About Us

Wock-Oliver is a leading company in the wastewater treatment industry, dedicated to providing high-quality engineering solutions to clients. We're looking for an STP Operator to join our team. This position will expose you to treatment technologies such as MBR, MBBR, RO, UF, and more.

Complete training will be provided for new personnel.

About the Role

• Operate and monitor the plant : Oversee daily operations by monitoring pumps, equipment, and treatment processes.
• Maintenance and repair: Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machinery. Coordinate with maintenance teams for major repairs.
• Water quality testing: Collect and analyse wastewater and sewage samples to monitor performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Chemical handling: Safely store, handle, and manage treatment chemicals.
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate daily logs of plant operations, performance, and compliance, and prepare reports.
• Troubleshooting: Respond to alarms and emergency situations, and solve complex problems to ensure the system runs efficiently.

Required skills and qualifications

• Education: An ITI, diploma in a relevant field like Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in operating ETP/STP is often preferred.
• Technical knowledge: Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes (physical, chemical, and biological), equipment, and maintenance procedures.
• Attention to detail: Meticulous record-keeping and the ability to follow procedures accurately.
