Role & responsibilities :-

Key Result Areas (KRA) for Project Manager

  1. Project Planning & Execution

  2. Develop detailed project plans, scope, timelines, and resource allocations.
    • Ensure timely kickoff, execution, and closure of projects.
    • Manage deliverables across all project phases.

  3. Expected Outcome: Projects completed on time, within scope and budget.

  4. Budgeting & Cost Control

  5. Prepare, monitor, and control budgets across multiple projects.
    • Manage cost overruns, procurement planning, and financial reporting.

  6. Expected Outcome: Maintain budget variance within 5%.

  7. Stakeholder & Client Management

  8. Regularly engage with internal/external stakeholders.
    • Understand client needs and manage expectations.

  9. Expected Outcome: High stakeholder satisfaction (CSAT 90%).

  10. Team Leadership & Development

  11. Lead cross-functional teams; assign responsibilities and review performance.
    • Mentor junior project managers or team leads.

  12. Expected Outcome: High team engagement and low attrition.

  13. Risk Management

  14. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
    • Maintain a risk register and action plans.

  15. Expected Outcome: Minimize project disruptions or delays due to unmanaged risks.

  16. Quality Assurance & Compliance

  17. Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and regulatory norms (ISO, GMP, etc.).
    • Oversee audits and implement corrective actions.

  18. Expected Outcome: 100% compliance with internal and external audits.

  19. Process Improvement & Innovation

  20. Drive process improvement initiatives and increase operational efficiency.
    • Adopt new project management tools or frameworks (Agile, Lean, etc.).

  21. Expected Outcome: Minimum 12 improvement initiatives implemented annually.

  22. Reporting & Documentation

  23. Maintain transparent and timely project reports for leadership.
    • Ensure documentation is complete and audit-ready.

  24. Expected Outcome: Accurate and real-time dashboard reporting available for all ongoing projects.

  25. Multi-Project Management

  26. Handle concurrent project portfolios with shifting priorities.
    • Balance workload among team members and resources.

  27. Expected Outcome: All active projects meet performance benchmarks.

  28. Customer Retention & Repeat Business

  29. Support business development through excellent project delivery.

  30. Expected Outcome: Secure repeat business or client reference for future projects.
