About the Role

Tasho is a contemporary craft and furniture design studio working with marble, stone, and mixed materials to create sculptural collectible pieces.

We're looking for a versatile 3D Modeller & CAD Draftsperson who can move fluidly between software, interpret conceptual models, and produce accurate, production-ready drawings.

You'll work closely with the design and production teams to develop furniture, objects, and stone pieces from early concepts to manufacturing documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert concept sketches or 3D models into detailed technical drawings (plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details).
  • Develop, refine, and clean 3D models across Rhino, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
  • Prepare fabrication-ready 2D CAD drawings with full dimensions, materials, and tolerances.
  • Create CNC, laser, and inlay layout files when required.
  • Support design development and prototyping by resolving construction details.
  • Collaborate with artisans and production managers to ensure manufacturability.
  • Maintain a clean file structure and layered drawing system for every project.

Required Skills

  • Strong 3D modelling skills in at least two major platforms (Rhino / SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / 3ds Max / Blender).
  • Excellent AutoCAD 2D drafting — able to create complete production drawings for furniture.
  • Strong understanding of furniture and product construction, especially in stone, metal, and wood.
  • Experience creating CNC and assembly drawings.
  • Eye for proportion, alignment, and precision.
  • Ability to interpret and refine complex organic or sculptural forms.
  • Organized workflow and file discipline.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in luxury furniture or collectible design.
  • Knowledge of rendering (KeyShot, Corona, or 3ds Max).
  • Familiarity with parametric modelling or Grasshopper.
  • Experience working with artisan workshops or small-scale fabrication.

Software Stack

  • Primary: Rhino / SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / AutoCAD
  • Secondary: 3ds Max / Blender / KeyShot / Illustrator
