About The Role
Were looking for an experienced Backend Engineer (SDE II) who can design, build, and scale backend systems with high ownership, is self-motivated, and drives measurable impact. Youll work closely with product, business, infra, and data teams to build scalable backend systems and leverage AI to drive business impact and :

  • Write clean, modular, correct, and production-ready code in or Python.
  • Able to think and design systems on scale using async programming, error handling, and best design practices.
  • Debug and optimize performance, memory, and concurrency issues.
  • Work with databases, caching (Redis or equivalent), and queues (SQS/PubSub) for reliable system design.
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications using AWS/GCP, Docker, and observability tools.
  • Take end-to-end ownership - from requirements to deployment and impact measurement.
  • Collaborate with product and business teams to deliver impactful outcomes.
  • Use AI tools/APIs (OpenAI, LiteLLM, LangChain, etc.) to improve workflows and product capabilities.

Must Have

  • Strong in or Python
  • High ownership and self-driven execution - You are an engineer, not a coder
  • Hands-on product development experience
  • Basic infra knowledge (AWS/GCP, Docker, monitoring, queues)
  • Practical AI usage or integration experience
  • System design - Thinking at scale (performance, reliability, cost)

  • Built or contributed to AI-driven applications
