As a sewage treatment plant operator, your role will involve operating, monitoring, and maintaining sewage treatment plant systems and equipment. You will need to record daily operational data, submit reports, ensure proper dosing of chemicals, and manage biological treatment processes. In addition, you will be responsible for handling routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of pumps, blowers, and filters. It is crucial to adhere to safety and environmental regulations and collaborate with supervisors for system upgrades and emergencies. Key Responsibilities: - Operate, monitor, and maintain sewage treatment plant systems and equipment - Record daily operational data, submit reports, and ensure proper dosing of chemicals - Manage biological treatment processes - Handle routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of pumps, blowers, and filters - Follow safety and environmental regulations - Coordinate with supervisors for system upgrades and emergencies Qualifications Required: - ITI/Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering - Certification or training in STP/ETP operations preferred - Experience with biological, chemical, and mechanical wastewater treatment processes - Familiarity with SCADA systems (optional but preferred) - Physically fit and willing to work in shifts - Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred; freshers with proper training may also apply This full-time position requires you to work in person at the designated work location. If you have certifications such as STP/ETP Operator Training from recognized institutes and NSDC or CPCB-affiliated training programs, it would be advantageous for this role.,
