We are looking for a highly creative Video Editor to join our fast-growing eCommerce brand (dropshipping & branded store). The ideal candidate will have strong editing skills, a sharp eye for engaging short-form content, and a deep understanding of how to capture attention through hooks, scripts, and storytelling.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit short-form videos (UGC, ads, product showcases, and reels) optimized for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Develop strong hooks and engaging scripts that maximize watch time and conversions.
  • Use AI tools (like Runway, Pika, Topaz, or similar) to enhance editing speed and creativity.
  • Create and refine AI-generated voiceovers using tools like ElevenLabs.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and write video scripts and concepts.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all edits while experimenting with new styles and trends.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and apply them effectively to video content.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a video editor for eCommerce brands (preferably dropshipping or D2C).
  • Proficiency with video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of AI tools for editing, prompting, and voiceover creation.
  • Ability to write compelling ad scripts and storyboards aligned with performance marketing.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to craft hooks, engaging narratives, and scroll-stopping edits.
  • Understanding of performance-driven ad creatives and consumer psychology.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with fast turnaround.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience editing UGC-style content for Meta Ads.
  • Understanding of A/B testing creatives.
  • Familiarity with storytelling frameworks for direct response marketing.
