We have urgent openings for Manager Procurement in Mumbai with one of our real estate client.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Purchase Manager to oversee the procurement of materials, services, and equipment required for real estate and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, negotiation, vendor management, and cost control, with a solid understanding of the real estate and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Planning:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.

  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and site teams to understand material requirements.

  • Vendor & Supplier Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.

  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.

  • Conduct periodic vendor assessments for performance, quality, and compliance.

  • Purchasing Operations:

  • Source and procure construction materials, fixtures, equipment, and services.

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to sites without project delays.

  • Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory control.

  • Cost Control & Budgeting:

  • Monitor procurement costs and ensure adherence to project budgets.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.

  • Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and legal regulations.

  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, vendor agreements, and payments.

  • Coordination & Reporting:

  • Work closely with finance, legal, and project teams to ensure seamless procurement processes.

  • Prepare regular procurement reports, spend analysis, and vendor performance metrics for management review.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree – (in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.) Optional
  • Minimum 9 to 10 years of experience in procurement within the real estate or construction industry.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP software
  • Knowledgeof construction materials, contracts, and vendor markets.
