Roles and Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor PLC-controlled systems for batching, mixing, pelleting, and packing
  • . Ensure that the automation systems are functioning as per defined parameters.
  • Maintain system backups and assist in PLC program modifications when required.
  • Monitor the machine for any jams or faults and report immediately.

  • Operate palletizing and de-palletizing machines for feed bags.

  • Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of the palletizer.

  • Adhere to safety and housekeeping standards

  • Perform assembly, fitting, alignment, and adjustment of mechanical parts.

  • Comply with safety and hygiene standards of the feed plant.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role (plastic extrusion industry).
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and ability to work with electricity safely.
  • Proficiency in fitting, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical components.
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Basic knowledge of computer operating systems.
