Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and mentor students in English Language, Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension, and Writing Skills tailored to competitive exam patterns.
  • Design structured lesson plans, practice worksheets, mock tests, and strategies aligned with the latest exam syllabi and trends.
  • Conduct classroom sessions (offline/online) focusing on concepts, shortcuts, error-spotting techniques, and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide personalized guidance and performance feedback to students to improve accuracy, speed, and confidence.
  • Analyze previous years' question papers and incorporate insights into teaching content.
  • Track student progress and maintain academic records.
  • Stay updated with changes in exam patterns, syllabus modifications, and relevant government notifications.
  • Create a positive, motivating learning environment to ensure high student engagement and success rates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in English, Education, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in English for competitive exams.
  • Strong command of English grammar, reading comprehension, and vocabulary-building techniques.
  • Familiarity with exam patterns of SSC, UPSC, Kerala PSC, RRB, IBPS, K-TET, etc.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and deliver clear, effective explanations.
  • Proficiency in preparing exam-oriented material and conducting mock tests.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills.
  • Experience with online teaching platforms is an added advantage.
