About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Quality Analyst to lead quality assurance across our enterprise SaaS platform. This role is ideal for someone who thinks like a quality lead, driving both manual and automated testing efforts to ensure product reliability, performance, and scalability. You will work closely with engineering and product teams in an agile environment to uphold high standards of quality across all releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end QA strategy across multiple web applications.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for platforms built on Angular, NestJS, and MongoDB.
  • Develop and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to define acceptance criteria and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and rapid iteration.
  • Perform API testing, UI testing, and cross-browser/device compatibility testing.
  • Monitor application performance and proactively identify issues before they impact users.
  • Lead root cause analysis for defects and drive resolution with engineering teams.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test results, bugs, and quality metrics.
  • Promote a culture of quality and testability across the development lifecycle.

Technical Proficiencies

  • Manual Testing: Functional, regression, exploratory, usability, acceptance, integration
  • Automation Tools: Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Postman, Jest, or similar
  • API Testing: RESTful services
  • CI/CD Integration: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins
  • Version Control: Git
  • Test Management: Jira, TestRail, Zephyr
  • Performance Testing: JMeter, k6 or similar
  • Security Testing: Basic understanding of OWASP principles and tools
  • Frontend Stack Familiarity: Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Backend Stack Familiarity: NestJS, MongoDB

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in automation testing.
  • Proven experience testing SaaS platforms, preferably in startup environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and lead quality initiatives across multiple products.
