Role & responsibilities

  • To ensure the amenities and electrical appliances are there in the rooms as per the defined standard.
  • To ensure the common areas are spic and span as per the defined standards.
  • To execute and ensure cleaning schedule is followed.
  • To conduct briefing and allocate the staffing for the areas.
  • To update and record all cleaning activities.
  • To ensure that the grooming of all contractual staff is as per the standards.
  • To ensure garbage is segregated and disposed off in the defined area.
  • To ensure that as per the defined standards the linen is complete in all In-patient areas.
  • Responsibility of Total Hospital Linen its Laundry & Stocks in circulation
  • To coordinate with engineering department for maintenance.
  • To impart training to the contractual staff.
  • To inform and record the missing items from their allocated area to Team Leader-HK
  • To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices
  • To ensure that all housekeeping assets like, equipment, Linen, and consumables are used and stored properly to prolong their life
  • To have complete Awareness about Disaster Management Programme (DMP) of the hospital.
  • To Comply with the service quality Process, environmental & occupational issues & policies of the respective area
  • To Comply with patient safety policy
  • To ensure safe utilization of equipments and proper waste disposal system.
