Blockchain Integration Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and external partner teams to define and execute integration roadmaps (bridges, rollups, sidechains).
• Design and develop blockchain adapters (RPC, WebSocket) and integration layers to interface with blockchain nodes and APIs.
• Implement cross-chain interoperability solutions, such as bridge validators, atomic swaps, rollups (zk-rollups, optimistic rollups), and asset transfers.
• Optimize node infrastructure and back-end services for high throughput, low latency, high reliability and observability (logging, alerting, monitoring).
• Troubleshoot integration issues, resolve technical blockers, and serve as a liaison between internal engineering teams and external partners or ecosystems.
• Develop and maintain developer-facing tooling, documentation, SDKs, sample code, and developer experience initiatives to support blockchain integrations.
• Stay informed about emerging blockchain technologies, consensus mechanisms, cryptography, L1/L2 architectures, and advise on adoption and best practices.
• Ensure integration solutions meet security, compliance, performance and scalability standards.

Have a strong developer mindset + systems thinking: Not only write smart contracts or adapters, but design how blockchain integration fits into broader architecture (node infrastructure, APIs, bridges, performance, observability).

Comfortable working across domains: blockchain protocols, cryptography, distributed systems, networking, DevOps/infrastructure, and integration of off-chain systems.

Collaborator who communicates effectively: Able to interface with internal engineering teams, product/partner teams (technical and non-technical), external ecosystem partners, define requirements, troubleshoot, escalate, document.

Curious and continuously learning: Stays abreast of emerging blockchain/crypto trends (rollups, bridges, zero‐knowledge proofs, interoperability protocols), adapts to new platforms and tools.

Pragmatic and outcome-oriented: Balancing ideal architecture with real world constraints (performance, cost, security, compliance).

Preferably have global mindset or remote working experience (if you are hiring distributed team): Comfortable across time-zones, asynchronous collaboration, partner integrations across continents.

Qualification & Certification:

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.

Strong programming skills in one or more of: Solidity (for smart contracts), Go, Rust, Python, (JavaScript/TypeScript) etc.

Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals: consensus mechanisms (PoW, PoS, etc.), cryptographic primitives, smart contracts, token standards, node architecture.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and documentation skills

Experience:

Proven professional experience (e.g., 3-5+ years) in software development, with at least 1-2 years focused on blockchain or distributed ledger technology (for senior roles more years).

Experience with blockchain platforms: e.g., Ethereum/EVM chains, Hyperledger, Corda, Solana, others.

Experience in integration work: APIs, RPC/WebSocket, Web3 tools, micro services, containers/DevOps, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), monitoring/observability. Experience working on or designing interoperability/cross chain/bridge/rollup solutions (preferred) — e.g., bridging assets, sidechain rollups, L2 integrations.
